Task:Key responsibilities and challenges:
- Assist DC Core Infrastructure Project Manager develop and maintain the project plan
- Manage the workstream deliverables for Network specific workstreams
- Manage workstream schedules
- Manage the project team resources assigned to Network specific workstreams
- Assist in the management of the workstream Risks and IssuesReport on workstream progress to the DC Core Infrastructure Project Manager
Requirements (Must have):
Network Delivery Manager (Project Manager) required to lead a series of Network focused delivery workstreams into two new Data Centre?s as part of the core enabling build of a Data Centre migration. The project will require the management and successful delivery of Core Network Infrastructure deliverables within the new Data Centres, WAN enhancement including upgrades to existing MPLS links, new cross-site links, Internet Access, Remote Access, IIS/Apache Webservices and Firewall Services.
Resource must have a demonstrable record of IS Infrastructure delivery, working to a Prince II framework and delivering complex global Data Centre Infrastructure projects. Successful candidates will have a track record of managing business stakeholders across multiple sites and have run previous Data Centre build project workstreams. Candidate will have managed technical teams as well as run multiple Projects in an ITIL environment.
Essential Experience:
- Data Centre Infrastructure delivery experience
- Multi Tier (Core and Distribution) Network delivery experience (Preferably Juniper)
- Exposure to WAN technologies and Internet technologies
- Experience in Data Centre structured cabling and distribution
- Experience in Network security, Firewalls and Remote Access technologies
- Experience of IIS/Apache Web Services
- A track record of project delivery in truly global organisations
- MS Project experience
