Translators (ENG, SPA, ITA, GER, FR, JAP)Location: Dublin, Ireland // Project based contract // Salary: Negotiable
Based in Dublin, our client is a company built by international teams and with ambitious projects to carry out during this year. To achieve their organizational goals in the gaming industry they are seeking Translators to join their team. If you are a passionate about games and have good gaming skills, so this is a great opportunity to grow as a Translator! Please attach your CV both in English and native language (English, Spanish, Italian, German, French or Japanese).
Key Requirements:
Fluency in English and native speaker in Spanish, Italian, German, French or Japanese and fluent level of English.
Previous translation experience from English into your native language is essential.
Degree in localisation, translation or other language-related studies preferred.
Experience with CAT tools (Trados, etc.) desirable.
MS Office & PC skills needed.
Desired requirements:
Preferably have previous experience as translator in the videogames and multimedia-entertainment fields.
Enjoy playing videogames and be familiar with the localised terminology, as this will be a major part of your daily work.
Be a videogames lover and a skilled player.
Personal requirements:
Ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines.
You must feel comfortable working in an international environment, being a flexible and committed team-player.
Be a quick and fast learner.
Ability to communicate ideas and suggestions to the team work.
Aiming to participate in an active way with the company.
Behave both as an individual and a group player, depending on the internal demands.
Interested in giving quality to the company’s projects.
Main tasks:
Work on translation and proofreading of in-game content.
You should be ready to meet the needs of stakeholders, cooperate with other international teams and individuals to maximize efficiency and synergies.
Working around project-specific limitations in order to achieve a high quality translation that maintains or improves the user experience.
