Site Design Manager
We have a great long term contract with a large telecommunications vendor in Germany. If you have a 10 years experience in Civil Works and can speak fluent German then this could be the position you have been searching for!
Requirements:
- A minimum 10 years experience in site design of the telecoms industry, gained working for a Design Consultancy, Equipment Vendor or Operator
- Familiar with the civil work program such like SAP 2000, ETABS, StaadPro, MSTower, PCA, or other software.
- Proficient in survey tools such as AUTOCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Familiar with the industrial standard of the steel structure in the telecoms industry such like DIN (Deutsche Industrie Normen) =(German Industry Standard)and ENS (Europaeische Norms)=(Europe Standard)
- An excellent understanding of towers, mon-pole and all antenna support structures
- Extensive experience in concrete or reinforced concrete of tower foundation, familiar with electrical design according to the local standard
- An in depth understanding of value engineering and the principles of cost effective designs
- Good negotiation skills to be able to influence the decision of discussions with customers and suppliers
- A good communicator, fluent in German and English able to clearly convey meaning.
