General Role Description
Ideal candidate with Broad IT Infrastructure Architecture experience but from a testing perspective.
Specific Tasks/Deliverables:
The resource will need to be able to look at clients's planned infrastructure and have the ability to work with the Project Managers in the production of a Testing Strategy but also be able to create (with the assistance of other key technical resources) a series of test plans and manage the execution of the various testing events client will need to execute prior to handing over our new Data Centers into Production.
Experiences & Detailed Requirements (should be proven by at least 3 examples)
Broad IT Infrastructure experience: HP Servers, VMWare, Storage (Possibly 3PAR), Switches (Possibly Juniper experience)
Infrastructure Software Experience: Anti Virus, Security Incident Event Management, Intrusion Detection, Monitoring
Test Management Experience: Creation of Testing Strategies, Set Up of Testing Schedules (Possibly with Quality Centre experience), Management of Tests, and Defect Management.
Test Planning Experience: Creation of detailed Technical Test Scripts
