Environment:

  • Our client implements a shared IT platform as well as a Shared Organization for the Business Operations around Investment Accounting in Europe. They cover the full life cycle of an IT implementation: Requirement /design/Build/test/Deploy as well as IT RUN: Monitoring, Maintenance, Small Changes, Enhancement Projects. For the Business Transformation Part we cover also the full life cycle of it: Organizational Design / Scoping & Impact Analysis / Process Analysis / Knowledge Capture / Knowledge Transfer / Recruitment / Training. As regard Processes we cover Financial  Processes, meaning Trade Support / Asset Servicing / Accounting / Reporting / Financial Instrument and Market Data Referential Management. They enter the process basically after Front/Middle/Back Office operation of asset management, i.e. when a Trades is settled and confirmed they get it in their systems as business event to be processed.

Tasks:

  • SIPOC capture on current organization: for each process Suppliers, Inputs, Process specificities vs. Targeted Process any specific business rule-manual operation in addition to the process-etc..., Output, Customer

  • Support to the Central team to potentially re-engineer some part of the SIPOC to fit in the Targeted Process/solution/organization

  • Support in communicating and organizing the related changes in the process

  • Support to knowledge transfer : explaining knowledge captured to FSSC (Financial Shared Service Center) resources coming to countries to get trained and prepare to take over of the activities, reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documented by FSSC resources.

  • Potential Support to ramp up period when FSSC start to operate processes and need support from Central team or local knowledge

Functional Skills:

  • Financial Instrument Understanding

  • Knowledge of Investment Accounting Processes

  • Targeted level of knowledge being : ability to operate such Processes

Technical Skills:

  • Accounting GAAP: IFRS GAAP, Local GAAP in the context of the country worked on (FR, GE, BE, MED, CH)

  • Knowledge capture

  • Offshoring

  • BPO projects

  • BPR

  • Change Management

Other Skills:

  • English - Mandatory

  • Knowledge of Lean Management by Six Sigma

  • Interpersonal skills to manage a complex environment (Offshoring / Transfer of activity)

  • Efficient Communication
