Für einen sehr Interessanten Kunden in Duisburg suchen wir derzeit einen UMTS Verification Manager (m/w). Im folgenden die Projektbeschreibung in Englisch:we are currently looking for a an experienced Verification Manager who wants to contribute to enhance our products and the way we work.
You duties will include but not be limited to
• Act as a sub-project-leader in modem development projects. Take responsibility for task and work package planning, resource coordination, tracking and reporting of all verification-related tasks
• Work in a challenging environment with international teams to enable the timely delivery of high quality products to Intel's lead customers for mobile phone platforms
• Actively support the functional verification of high-feature baseband modem chips and the embedded Layer 1 firmware for UMTS and future mobile phone technologies such as LTE
• Support the system integration (firmware & hardware) on virtual prototype platforms and target hardware
• Support the development and execution of dedicated test cases, ensuring proper modem and system functionality of Intel's state-of-the-art modem chip sets
Qualifications
• An education in microelectronics engineering or physics is required
• Work experience in the industry of at least 5 years is requested
• Profound project planning and communication skills, esp. in English, are mandatory
• A high degree of motivation and dedication would be expected, along with good interpersonal and team working skills
• Experience with UMTS standard, esp. for Physical Layer and Layer 1, would be helpful
• Good MS Office skills are required
