For our customer, an inter-governmental organization located in Darmstadt/Germany we are looking for a Quality Manager.
TASKS
- Assisting in the definition of processes and providing guidance in process definition and implementation
- Supporting assessments of processes and recommending improvements
- Monitoring anomaly management processes and providing statistics
- Supporting risk management processes and associated reviews
- Providing front-line user support', helping users with problems and questions
- Registering new users and providing them with instruction
- Coordinating the resolution of any problems that might be reported
- Contributing to the formulation of user requirements for enhancements
- Performing acceptance testing.
PROFILE
As a minimum a university degree (or equivalent), with the knowledge, experience and skills specified in the following sections.
Mandatory Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- Good knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard
- Experience of working in an ISO 9001-certified environment.
- Knowledge of the management, engineering and quality assurance activities.
- Experience of documenting work activities in the form of process definitions, procedures and working practices, plus good user-viewpoint' writing skills.
- Experience of QA auditing/process assessment
- Experience of working with a formal anomaly-management process, using a multi-user computer-based tool for the recording and disposition of anomalies.
- Experience of providing front-line support to users, defining user-requirements for software tools and conducting user-acceptance testing.
- Skilled in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
One or more of the following will be considered an advantage:
- Knowledge of the ECSS standards
- Knowledge of ISO 31000 (Risk Management - Principles and Guidelines)
- Possession of an auditing qualification
- Experience of working in an operations and/or system-procurement environment
Personal Skills and Working Language
- The Key Person shall have good verbal and writing communication skills, this being important for being able to effectively interact with any personnel, in the context of both QA and Support activities.
- Fluent in English, French knowledge would be an advantage.
