Network/System Analyst - System Engineer -Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for general computing applications. Supports getting a 64 bit build in line with existing Client Services offering to customers inside and outside of Global IT Infrastructure Services.
This includes:
- Engineering of client installation.
- Collaborate with Client Services on definition, optimization and standardization of the Integrated Workplace Services architecture on a global basis.
- Planning and driving the implementation of new workstation architectures aligned with the architecture team and the “Next Generation Workspace Win8 Proof Of Concept” project team which is currently assessing Windows 8 with more than 600 Pilot users.
- Ensuring that the installed architecture satisfies defined performance, security and availability parameters.
- Support Identifying, together with Service Delivery organization, any shortcomings in performance and propose solutions for their correction.
- Ensure adequacy of upgrades.
- Prepare for handover to operation team and facilitate service integration including in the build solutions to facilitate the support (SCCM log files, Win 8 troubleshooting)
Key Competences requested :
Win7/Win8 OSD (Operating System Deployment), SCCM / MDT, Scripting, experience in developing enterprise class solutions.
Qualification Rating
