On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for an Optical Technical Support Engineer on a permanent basis in Paris. Eligibility to work in France and fluent French is required.
As Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment of our client's networks. Another task is to provide technical support (before and after sales); you will be the single point of contact for our client's customers in this area.
Responsibilities:
-Provide before sales technical support and validation.
-Be in charge of the deployment, integration and commissioning.
-Attend follow up meetings, on-site technical assistance and Level 2/3 support.
-Provide training for customers, subcontractors or service partners.
-Prepare technical documentation to support the activities above.
-Provide technical problem management.
Requirements:
-University degree in Telecommunication or Electrical / Electronic Engineering or relevant working experience.
-With a solid foundation in Optical networks as well as SDH and DWDM
-Knowledge of Linux, Unix, NT/2000 operating systems as well as databases such as Oracle, Informix, Sybase, SQL servers, etc.
-Familiar with the requirements and engineering applications of Optical telecommunication products.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
