SOLUTION ARCHITECT•
(Works as part of a team to develop internal technology infrastructure for business enterprises. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong command of a wide range of technical skills related to architecting solutions for the mortgage industry. The candidate will have a proven background working with / managing the development of applications using a variety of current technologies, including Microsoft .NET, Java/J2EE and XML)
• Create the application architecture for one or more business area domains including all
applications and projects within the domain(s).
• Develop the overall application architecture for one or more business area domains,
ensuring that the architecture is appropriate across the business domain(s), evolves to
meet changing business and technology environments, and adheres to the enterprise
architecture
• Conduct industry and domain analyses for technology choices and directions
• Create technology roadmaps
• Capture architectural requirements
• Evaluate alternative approaches
• Prototype alternatives as needed
• Create architectural models and architecture documentation
• Develop application, component, data, and interface architecture for each application
and project within the domain(s)
• Evaluate alternative approaches, prototype as needed, recommend solutions, create and
maintain architecture documentation
• Create specifications for components and interfaces
• Lead reuse initiative for domain including policies and guidelines for common
mechanisms while adhering to enterprise architecture
• May assist in analyzing and modeling relevant business processes
• Analyze, design, realize and implement IT solutions, including:
• Devising functional and conceptual design specifications,
• Data and process modeling,
• Developing prototypes,
• Developing and unit/integration testing programs using the defined software
development environment.
• Implements standard software packages within the frame-work of the defined business
application architecture, including:
• Supporting software package evaluation,
• Leading software selection process,
• Elaborating functional and conceptual design specifications,
• Defining integration and implementation plans,
• Customizing standard solution and developing additional functions/objects according to
user requirements.
• Write project related documentation such as technical system design, user manual, etc.
• Convert technical and business requirements into adequate IT solutions for an allocated
area of a project or work task.
• Serve as technical leader and mentor to the development team.
