Multiple STRESS ENGINEERS are required for a new programme of work with an internationally recognised Aerospace Engineering firm. Working on a contract basis you will focus your stress experience on repair work (SRM - Structural Repair Manual) involving the A380 and A400M. This programme of work is long term with contracts available until December 2015 and potentially longer. Junior to Senior level Engineers are required.Job description:
* Static calculations for justification of Allowable Damage Limits and repairs as per Structural Repair Manuals (SRM) for SA, LR, A380 and A400M program
* Autonomous application of appropriate justification methods
* Detailed local FE Analyses (linear)
* Writing of static justification reports
* Stress Engineering
You MUST have the following skills:
* Proven background as a Stress Engineer within the Aerospace sector - minimum of 5 years experience
* Structural Repair Manual (SRM) knowledge and experience
* PATRAN and NASTRAN - 3 years minimum
* STATIC Engineering experience including the ability to create Static/Stress justification reports
* ASSACOS or ISSY or ISAMI (Airbus tools)
* FEA experience
* Linear static mechanical analysis (DFEM)
* Knowledge of AIRBUS methods and procedures
* English language skills (verbal and written)
* German is desirable but not essential
