Job Specification
IMS Consultant
Currently our client is analysing and preparing the introduction of VoLTE and other network services requiring the deployment of an IMS domain. A multi-vendor IMS solution is a likely scenario.
Our client requires support in the following main areas
- Analysing suppliers' answers during the Request for Quotation (RfQ) phase & evaluating suppliers' solutions
- Support within High Level Design (HLD) phase & Low Level Design(LLD) phase
- Support of solving interoperability issues between various IMS components
- Verification of IMS network element configuration
- IMS test support (definition of test campaigns - e2e tests & node specific tests)
- The idle candidate already has experience in the following areas
- Is familiar with the IMS related 3GPP specifications
- Knowledge of IMS network & system components
- Has experience in implementing multi-vendor IMS solutions
- Knows the VoLTE architecture in detail
- Knowledge of IMS related protocols
- Knowledge of surrounding networks & network components (2G, 3G, 4G, Release 4 mobile architecture, IN) and related services
- Knowledge of IMS configuration, ie network element configuration
- Knowledge of IMS security
- Experience in QoS/policy control configuration
- Confirming the above skills and knowledge the CV should cover the following items
- Successful IMS reference projects already performed the suppliers' names and network elements.
Our client is looking for an IMS consultant being able to act as an IMS expert rather than a project manager.
