Our Munich based client has an immediate requirement for a Sharepoint Consultant for a short term assignment (6 weeks) but with the possibility of further extensions. The successful applicant will assist in the analysis and preparation phase of a project to upgrade the Microsoft (MS) Office SharePoint 2007 to MS Office SharePoint 2010 platform.
This Department is responsible for the development, support and deployment of applications built upon the SharePoint platform and technology. They provide the interface between the business user community/application management units and the IT operational infrastructure department, being responsible for handling development change requests for these systems as well as providing in-house developed solutions to match business requirements.
The consultant will be expected to provide advice to various other IT departments on strategies with respect to architectural restraints specific to the MS environment and its inter-operability as well as strategic advice to internal departments on best practice solutions for their requirements.
Applicants should have in depth technical experience and knowledge of SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010, technical experience and knowledge of working with SharePoint workflows and configuration of individual or project SharePoint sites, technical experience in SharePoint 2010 migrations, Strong analytical and management skills and Project management experience and methodology knowledge (eg Prince2).
The business language is English but due to the location of the work the ability to converse in German is also required.
