Task:On behalf of our client we are looking for a Security Consultant with PCI-DSS focus for a one of our Professional Services projects. End customer is a large telecommunications company with activities in many countries around the globe. The scope of the project is to customise and extend our product suite according to client requirements and integrate it with client and third-party applications. Our client product suite is a Java-based transaction platform and business application to enable financial transactions, such as money transfers, international remittance, prepaid top-up, airtime transfer, merchant payment and bill payment, over mobile and other channels.
The end client wants to certify the implemented solution complying with the PCI Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS).The Security Consultant will lead the effort during the PCI-DSS certification for our product. This includes the following responsibilities:
- Lead the PCI-DSS compliance efforts during the certification phase
- Review the PCI-DSS requirements provided by the client and provide evidence responses for our product to the client. Advise the client when the requirement is not related to the client product suite and must be provided by other parties (e.g. datacentre provider)
- Provide technical subject-matter expertise to other project stakeholder, e.g. Infrastructure and development team and provide guidance in case changes are necessary
Requirements (Must have):

- Detailed understanding of IT security fundamentals with in-depth knowledge of Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards (PCI-DSS and PA-DSS)
- Knowledge in the area of network, encryption technologies and of different data base products as well as UNIX and Linux with regard to security concepts
- Strong conceptual and technical design skills, architectural thinking
- Good knowledge of software development best practices/ Source Code Analysis
- Confident interaction with clients
- Many years of practical experience in three-tier web applications with a Java MVC framework, with a focus on backend integration through web services and other protocols/formats
- Ability and willingness to work in a project context and under pressure
- Availability for occasional international travel
