Hourly rate: 52,00 Euros
You will assist the team in the planning, implementation, maintenance and support of the Windows server infrastructure. You will also provide third line support for incident management and problem solving.
You:
Have extensive experience in deploying and administering a Microsoft Windows Server 2003(R2) and
2008(R2) based server environment;
are accustomed to Real Time analysis, monitoring and problem resolution of hardware and software
components of a server farm;
have experience administering Microsoft failover clustering and load balancing technologies (NLB)
including supporting SAN attached Servers;
can review and deploy Windows critical updates, service packs, and software patches using a Microsoft WSUS infrastructure based on best practice security models;
have experience of deploying, configuring and maintaining both physical and virtual machines based on Windows Deployment Services and VMware infrastructure;
have experience in automating tasks with Powershell and VBScript;
are able to initiate/update technical documentation;
You also:
Have strong verbal and written communication skills in English;
are able and willing to quickly learn operational processes and procedures currently in place to support a mission critical production environment;
are able to organise and structure daily work independently while working alongside others teams and providing regular reports to line management;
must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and team working skills and be able to interact with multiple levels of personnel both within the organization and externally;
must pay strong attention to detail and quality;
This position is a daytime position but will require flexibility to perform system maintenance during evenings and weekends plus ad hoc on call arrangements.
