WINDOWS 7 ARCHITECT x2 - FRANKFURT, GERMANY - XP to WINDOWS 7 MIGRATION
There are two opportunities for what our client has termed "Windows 7 experts" to work as part of a small team based in Frankfurt. The project is to migrate the end-client from an eclectic collection of XP workstations to Windows 7 by the end of 2013. There will also be some attendant infrastructure in passing - for example, a new SCCM infrastructure and Windows 2008 print Servers as part of the programme.
Once onsite, the individuals will provide the design, analysis, strategy and thinking for the documentation, and will be responsible for gathering requirements from stakeholders, such as users and operational teams.
This is a long term role which will require candidates to be based full time in Germany. candidates need to be prepared to live and work in another country for a significant period of time.
Candidates need very good and recent skills in new Windows 7 image creation, SCCM deployment and App-V.
The roles are hands-on positions and candidates will be expected to deliver the infrastructure that they help design, so we are looking for a true all-rounder (design and delivery).
Rates are open to negotiation.
Candidates will be required to go through Disclosure Scotland clearnace, unless they have already been through the clearance process recently, prior to starting this assignment.
