For our customer, an inter-governmental organization located in Darmstadt/Germany we are looking for an Oracle WebCenter Content Engineer.

TASKS

Development

  • Design, implement, configure, install, test and deploy new systems/solutions to existing systems;
  • Re-design and re-implementation as needed, following the full development cycle,
  • Support the customer acceptance and roll-out phases of new or enhanced systems;
  • Support subsequent pilot and operational phases,
  • Contribute to project planning and reporting.
  • Perform the related quality assurance, configuration and change management activities,
  • Document tasks and deliverables according to working practices,

Operations

  • Operate, administer, maintain and support the document management system and upcoming systems for information management,
  • Implement patches to Oracle WebCenter and bug fixes to the customisations for the information management systems
  • Maintain the configuration for operations, troubleshooting, proof of concept, development and test environments in source repository and documentation.
  • Provide technical support, including hands-on troubleshooting,

PROFILE

The Consultant shall have as a prerequisite:

  • At least 5 years professional experience in development and implementation of Oracle UCM 10g/WebCenter Content 11g solutions, including Content Server APIs, Services, Components, Rules and Filters;
  • At least 5 years professional experience in operating, maintaining and supporting systems based on of Oracle UCM 10g/WebCenter Content 11g
  • Professional experience in system installation and integration in a Windows 2008 Server environment of Oracle UCM 10g/WebCenter Content 11g and Weblogic 11g, including cluster configurations, Single Sign On, Content Server APIs, Services, Components, Filters and Content Tracker;
  • Knowledge of and experience with Java and SQL
  • Highly self motivated with a high level of autonomy in working arrangements and the ability to apply initiative and creativity in the execution of tasks;
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, willingness to learn, able to work as part of a team and displaying a strong customer-oriented approach.

In addition to the above requirements, experience/knowledge in any of the following areas shall be considered a distinct advantage:

  • Professional experience of design and implementation of workflows in Oracle BPEL/BPM designer, Human Task and ADF;
  • Installation and configuration of Oracle WebCenter Content workflow, Oracle BPEL/SOA workflow and digital signatures;
  • Deployments of Oracle Secure Enterprise Search, WebCenter Spaces, secure web access;
  • Good understanding of document management principles and the related requirements;
  • A university degree in computer science, software engineering or similar;
  • Knowledge of ITIL, in particular with respect to change and configuration management;
  • Fluent in English, French knowledge would be an advantage.
