For one of our clients we are searching for a Senior System/Network Engineer (m/f).Tasks:
- Manage the non-standard request queue
- Perform analysis and solution-mapping
- Built micro-plan and ensure implementation-progress
- Create JCL and Scripts
Skills:
Have at least 3 years of experience as a senior system/network engineer:
o Operating a Windows & Linux enterprise server-environment
o Performing design, setup & troubleshooting of applications that transfer data in between servers using complex protocols & security mechanisms
o Operational knowledge for a distributed environment including Windows, Linux, TCP/IP and encryption
o Administration knowledge of Windows (Server) & Linux and troubleshooting applications on system and network level
o Knowledge of file transfer : use and troubleshoot FTP, sFTP, FTPs, OFTP, … protocols; use and troubleshoot Stonebranch UCMD, UDM & UEM
o Being able to write and debug Windows & Linux scripts:
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking: IP addressing & subnetting, base routing principles, VLANs, Virtual IP addressing principle (VIP) & content switch usage, DNS role, Firewall principles
o Basic knowledge of IBM Mainframe / ZOS like TSO, TWS, SDSF, JCL, ISPF, SA, IMS, VSAM
o Customer orientation
o Communication skills
o Planning and organization skills
o Problem analysis
o Initiative
o Assertiveness
o Process minded
o Active knowledge of French or Dutch
o Good knowledge of English in speaking and writing
