For one of our clients we are currently looking for an ITSM Change Management Process Specialist (f/m) based in Berlin.
Project Background:
The ITSM Change Management Process Specialist will be responsible to support the ongoing operation of the change management process on a daily basis while also supporting the implementation of a comprehensive change management process including the implementation of the supporting ITSM toolset
Tasks:
Govern daily operation and execution of the existing change management process within a vendor environment
Govern inter-dependencies amongst all relevant ITSM processes
Assess change requests and the preparation thereof to minimize risk/impact of business disruption
Attend CAB meetings and challenge inadequately planned changes
Support approval procedures as part of change implementation pre-requisites
Take ownership and drive continual improvement initiatives
Support critical projects from a change management perspective to ensure successful project delivery
Manually capture KPI measures where needed
Contribute to process design and tool requirements definition
Test implemented functionalities of ITSM tool and document test results
Skills:
Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
Visibility of comprehensive and cross-functional dependencies and functions within the ITSM domain
Practical experience in IT change management (assessing change requests, attending CAB meetings)
Experience in process design and implementation
Experience in ITSM tool deployment, implementation and testing of ITSM tool suites
Good understanding of basic technology concepts (e.g. network topology and components, active directory)
Proven to have worked in a fast pace and dynamic work environment
