Wir suchen für unseren Kunden einen NetApp Storage Administrator. (m/w) Es wird erwartet, dass sich der Berater in der Nähe von Ludwigshafen für die Projektdauer niederlässt.

Interacting with our customer’s IT engineering and architecture teams to ensure the continuity of solutions within the client data center.
• Consulting on storage infrastructure and operational solutions tailored to meet the customer’s needs
• Integration of NetApp solutions into the customers IT Service Management (ITSM) data center services
• Advising on best practices for improving operational processes within the IT Service Management (ITSM) Framework
• Being trusted advisor to the customer and account team
• Being an advocate of the customer’s infrastructure needs to the NetApp Account Team
• Project planning for tasks of moderate to high complexity.
• Configuration of NetApp hardware and software products.
• Requirements analysis and gathering technical details regarding a customer’s environment.
• Implementation of backup and restore, disaster recovery, storage consolidation, data protection, storage performance, etc., in accordance with the customer’s ITSM processes
• Storage Efficiency Optimization activities such as upgrades, performance tuning, and system audit tasks.
• Mentoring of any Resident Engineers or Admins on the account / project
• Technical lead for the delivery team (Engineers/Administrators) throughout the engagement
• Interpreting enterprise class assessments (objectives, data collection, analysis, reporting against objectives)
• Leveraging NetApp’s Project Delivery Methodology (PDM – Assess, Consult, Deploy, Close/Transition)

Windows: good knowledge of the various versions of windows platforms. Understand share and NTFS security concepts.
• Unix: good knowledge of Berkeley, Linux, and/or System V Unix system administration concepts including disk and network administration, NFS and NIS/NIS+ administration
• Networking: knowledge of Ethernet, IP, DNS and NIS associated daemons. Knowledge of network architectures including hubs, repeaters, bridges, routers, and switches.
• FCP / SAN technologies – Switches and directors
• Storage: knowledge of storage administration and the concepts of file systems, disk partitions, mounts, quotas, mirroring and sizing.
• Expert knowledge of NAS, DAS, SAN (fabric attached architectures).
• Expert with storage sixing, performance and high availability
• Experience with Data ONTAP fundamentals.
• Operational experience with NetApp’s Manageability Software (Operations Manager, Provisioning Manager, Protection Manager).
• Working knowledge of the planning, implementing and tuning of NetApp’s SanScreen product.

A minimum of 6 years or more of experience is required.
• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent
experience is required.
• Networking and Fiber Chanel experience.
• NCDA Certified preferred
• NCIE Certifications preferred
• ITILv3 foundation Certified required
• ITILv3 Intermediate level certification for ITL Lifecycle stream in the following 2 streams is
preferred:
• Service Transition
• Service Operations
• Other Certifications TBD
• MCP, MCSA and MCSE Certifications are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects
