Integration and validation of Transport, Microwave and Small Cell components into the group specific multi vendor environment such as IP backhaul environment, O&M tool chain, existing GSM, UMTS and LTE systems and security systems. Derive test specification, execution of lab tests, documentation of results, follow up problems with suppliers, find and verify mitigations and solutions.Main goal is to deliver new LTE, UMTS and GSM systems according to expected quality level and functional requirements.
- Education as engineer or comparable education with focus on telecommunication technology
- Very good and detailed knowledge of transport systems with focus on IP
- Good knowledge of mobile telecommunication, especially in the radio part of LTE (4G), UMTS (3G) but also GSM (2G) system components and related protocols and features. Know how on specific implementation of NSN and Huawei Radio Systems
- Understanding of methodology of services and applications implemented in mobile networks
- Specific knowledge and experience in testing/integrating/maintaining of radio systems within mobile telephony networks and associated HW and SW
- Integration of new LTE, UMTS and GSM radio platforms with new core network, mobiles, O&M tool chain, existing GSM, UMTS and LTE systems, IP based transport and security systems
- In depth knowledge of working with personal computers and operating systems, preferably good knowledge of O&M-systems
