Business Consultant - Trading Room and/or Market Data Background (f/m) Financial AreaBusiness Area: Market Signals, Product Development;
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Research and Development in the area of Market Data and Data Services; Development of new Market Data products and/or services; Close co-operation with the Product Development Team as regards day to day work;
Qualification and required (mandatory)
- Investment Firm background (ideally sell side but buy side welcomed as well);
- Experience with and understanding of the Market Data Industry, Exchange sector and/or Electronic Trading Community is a must;
- Broad experience as regards market data (raw or analytics) as well as data services used in the Front Office/Trading Room of an Investment Firm;
- Ideally good understanding of cascading systems, service and data requirements for mid- and/or Back Office;
- Good understanding of the Investment Firms IT infrastructure/architecture is a valuable asset too (ideally STP), as well as recent trends in the industry as regards Investment Firms infrastructures as well as outsourcing opportunities in this space;
- Ideally the applicant has worked as a link between traders and IT as regards the implementation of required data products and services, or has a traders or system architectures background with a strong focus on data and service needs of the Front Office employees;
- Strong analytical skills as well as creative thinking;
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, working knowledge of German is a plus;
- Competent handling of MS Office applications;
