My client is seeking an experienced contractor to work on a comprehensive software library, with powerful algorithms for fast image processing. The library is programmed in C#/C++ and can be used on different platforms; such as PCs using Windows and Linux.
In this role you will be tasked with
- Development of new modules for image processing subtasks
- Programming of algorithms independently or according to the specifications
- Creation of demo and test applications
- Optimizing and expanding of existing modules
- Porting to supported platforms
- Supporting customers in case of application optimizing and support requests
Your skills
- Diploma or Master Degree in Informatics (or in comparable field)
- German and English fluent in spoken and written
- Great experience in the field of software development (C, C++, C# and/or Java)
- Experience in the development of image processing algorithms
Desirable
- Having fun with optimizing algorithms
- A good knowledge of standard libraries (.NET, OpenMP, OpenCV, IPP, etc.)
- A good knowledge of common design patterns
- Programming on Linux and/or Embedded systems (ARM, DSPs)
- Confident using VisualStudio and/or MonoDevelop
