The Country Manager will report to the Director of Sales International. This role will utilize exceptional leadership skills, entrepreneurial skills, understanding of the International’s market playbook, operations, and strategic thinking to drive business performance and grow the brand.
Work location is Berlin, with a requirement to be in Italy on a regular basis. This person will be responsible for International’s development in Italy, largely seller based, with an expected high level of interaction and integration with our marketing efforts across customer acquisition, activation and retention for Italy.

TASK
• General management of Italian market
• Responsible for Italy P&L
• Management of 4 internal and many external resources
• Ownership of site(s) performance, product, brand and business development
• Develop key strategies, budgets and operating plans for the marketplace
• Management of Marketing budget, define and implement Online and Offline Marketing strategy to maximize traffic growth, increase brand awareness, optimize site performance driven metrics, increase demand and stickiness to the site.
• Leading Dealer & Advertising Sales team: identify key areas/regions needed to improve dealer coverage, formulate strategic plans to address them, set up a customer acquisition strategy, management of car dealer and OEM relationships in order to identify market growth opportunities. Develop premium advertising monetization strategy and management of sales house.
• Work cross-functionally with corel product teams to prioritize international initiatives, and help make trade-offs to deliver the best experience to thel user.
• Drive innovation of new products; work with product & technology teams to roll out new products that fit the experience Requirements
Candidates should preferably be experienced in an entrepreneurial/general manager capacity. The highest demonstrated performance is expected at all professional and educational career stages
• University Degree
• Minimum 8 years of General Management, BD, Marketing and general management experience at a Consumer Internet company
• Exceptional entrepreneurial and proven general manager skills
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail a must
• Strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrated interpersonal and process leadership skills
• Proven track record of working in an international team bridging geographies and cultural differences
• Strong skills in both analytical and logical problem solving, led by distinctive intuition for customer needs
• Understanding of different KPIs and decision making based off this information
• Great people manager skills - demonstrated success in managing teams to achieve measurable goals
• Ability to influence, lead and inspire cross-functional & cross-border groups
• Passion for automotive industry
• Italian is a must, English fluent and German nice to have
