We're currently recruiting for a Windows Server Support Engineer for a 12 month contract opportunity in Germany where the majority of the work will be based in Frankfurt however there will be some excursions to Munich.
Essential Skills: SQL Server, Web Technologies, German language fluency
This excellent long-term opportunity is with a very large banking client in Germany and carries a lot of responsibility, please see below the main duties you will be expected to carry out:
- 1st and 2nd Level Incident handling (pre-qualified by power users)
- Minor enhancements (e. g. navigation changes)
- 1st and 2nd Level Incident handling
- Setup new projects based on project template
- New/changed users
- As part of Incident tickets
- Incident handling (e. g. customer reports publishing issues, deployment issues, etc)
- Support installation of new patches (Installation, testing).
- Analyse and solve server based 1st and 2nd Level incidents
- Apply and test new patches and configuration changes
- Request Apache based redirects
- Request Quota increase
- Testing, Bug reporting, Rollout
