On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a number of Back Office Engineer Core/VAS in Germany on either permanent or contract basis.
The BO Engineer is mainly responsible for 2nd Line activities, implementation/integration and Problem/Change/Configuration Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· 2nd Level service problem restoration of GSM/UMTS/LTE Core network faults; prioritizing faults and meet WLAs/SLAs, Handling Trouble Tickets & CSRs.
· 2nd Level resource configurations & changes into GSM/UMTS/LTE Core & VAS network within the scope of work, Handling CRs.
· Handling Emergency situations in GSM/UMTS/LTE Core & VAS Network.
· Keeping the GSM/UMTS/LTE Core & VAS NEs Hardware and Software Configurations Updated.
· Performing Acceptance Testing of the new Network Element in GSM/UMTS/LTE Core & VAS network.
· Participating in internal technical discussions in view to improve overall network performance and make recommendations wherever possible.
· Contributing in the creation and improvements to procedures and routines within the department / group.
· Execution of Network Changes.
· Ensuring correct working methodology.
· Adherence to customer agreed KPIs.
· Finding root cause analysis of potential and traffic outage related problems.
· Rerouting the traffic during outage time (Traffic transmission).
· Managing to keep low MTTR & preparing the report for analysis with help of OSS.
· Managing to keep track of hardware's & software's related changes in the network.
Qualifications
· Degree within Electrical Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/Computer
Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent professional education
· Minimum 5 years of experience in Operation & Maintenance implementation / integration / operation / support or service environment
· Experience in main-vendor (such as NSN, Ericsson) Core GSM/UMTS/LTE, experience in implementation/integration of Core Network expansions is an advantage
· Very familiar with performance tools such as OVIS/OVO (HP), NPR/Metrica, Netview, Nokia NETACT, Performance OMC, Radio Commander, TNMS Events, RANOS,…etc
· Deep knowledge of SW patching and Release upgrades is an advantage
· Fluent English and German skill is a plus
