Network Surveillance Engineer



On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a number of Network Surveillance Support engineers in Germany on either permanent or contract basis. Shift work is required.



Responsibilities



· Managing Customer Service Requests

· Monitoring and managing 2G/3G/4G network alarm event panels (such as HP OpenView (TeMIP), OVIS/OVO (HP), NPR/Metrica, Nokia NETACT, Radio Commander, TNMS Events, RANOS etc.),

· Monitoring and analyzing network performance on the 24x7 basis. This also includes providing escalation and notification of Minor, Critical and Major incidents/outages.

· Performing initial analysis to identify issues follow by restoration if possible (1st line of Support).

· Performing periodical network backups and health checks to determine network status.

· Creating and updating/managing trouble tickets for any detected problem.

· Ensuring all information are capture in activity log of the TT-System

· Managing technical escalation to ensure faults is rectified within agreed SLAs.

· Performing Escalation and Notification to keep management and other business units informed during system outages.

· Assisting the shift leader in producing activity report for KPI calculation.

· Checking and certified new network elements to be commissioned in operation environment within agreed KPI.

· Assisting the operation team in process improvement and ongoing development of tools and system.

· Ensuring proper work progress, shift handover, data communication, team work spirit…etc.



Qualifications

· Degree within Electrical Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/Computer

Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent professional education

· Minimum 3 years of experience in Operation & Maintenance implementation / integration / operation / support or service environment

· Good knowledge or experience on RAN/UTRAN, microwave, VAS technologies of main vendors.

· Fluent English and German is a plus
