This position, based near Frankfurt in Germany, calls for at least three years experience in developing sites and content with Oracle WebCenter Content (UCM), Site Studio and SSXA.
Our client is responsible for establishing and operating weather forecasting and Earth observation satellite programmes with associated data telemetry and dissemination operations. Vast quantities of data are produced and user communities throughout the world are able to access both current and historical data sets. The demanding Real Time environment places much emphasis on adherence to quality and configuration management standards and procedures.
The job holder will contribute to the full life cycle of software development, maintenance and support for website, extranets and an Intranet as part of a migration project to upgrade existing sites from Oracle Stellent 7.6 to Oracle WebCenter Content (UCM) 11g. Furthermore, the job holder will be responsible for administering Oracle WebCenter Content and WebLogic Servers.
The key experience and attributes sought are:-
- At least 5 years professional experience in developing, managing and administrating sites
- At least 3 years professional experience in developing sites and content with Oracle WebCenter Content, Site Studio and SSXA, preferably with release 11g
- Experience in JSP, JavaScript, Idoc Script, HTML5, XHTML, CSS, Ajax, XML, XSLT, PHP
- Administration and configuration of Oracle WebCenter and WebLogic
- Integration of systems involving Web Services/SOAP
- Knowledge of Apache, IIS
- Knowledge of Windows
- Proven experience in formal documentation, preferably in an ISO 9000 certified project and service environment
- Knowledge of some of the following would be advantageous:-
- SQL, JSF, Java, Servlets
- LDAP/AD, SMTP
- Tag based web analytic tools and related analysis and other web statistics
ITIL, in particular with respect to change and configuration management
Candidates should possess a University degree or equivalent. Fluency in English is essential. This is a freelance contract assignment with an initial period of 1 year starting in May 2013 with options to extend for a further period of 3 years.
