For one of our clients we are looking for an IT Security Architect (m/w)Purpose of the job
The IT Security Architect assists in the design and conception of the data centre security architectures and solutions supporting the Focus IS program by determining security requirements, planning security systems, and evaluating proposed solutions. He/She also serves as a security expert in various technologies and platforms that affect infrastructure (such as applications, SAP system, DC LAN, messaging, incident and event monitoring systems, etc.) as well as the specific areas (cyber security, data privacy compliance; protection of information assets and systems from security threats) under the guidance of the IS Security Office. The IT Security Architect contributes to the development and maintenance of DC security strategy, ensuring the implementation and operation of the appropriate security controls are aligned with IT security policies and standards and regulatory or contractual requirements (e.g. OSC).
Key responsibilities and challenges:
1. Security Services (50%):
Designs and Engineers core security services (malware protection, incident and event monitoring, technical compliance, vulnerability testing) so that information on IT systems is appropriately protected from a wide variety of problems including unauthorized disclosure, unauthorized use, inappropriate modification, premature deletion, and unavailability
2. DC Security (20%):
Supports security requirements and best practices for both Core IT Security processes (in Data Centre, Network) as well as specific technologies, especially firewall, IDS and privileged access management.
3. System Security (30%):
Interprets information security policies, standards, and other requirements as they relate to specific hosted IT systems. Supports the established risk management and IT asset classification processes and assists IT and business organization in the selection and requirement of security controls in accordance with business impact and risk.
