Portland Resourcing is looking for an experienced Scrum Master for a team of 8+ members, with good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness and conflict resolution.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for enacting Scrum values and practices
2. Ensure that the team is fully functional and productive
3. Enable close cooperation across all roles and functions
4. Shield the team from external interferences
5. Manage all scrum specific administrative tasks including meeting arrangements and progress tracking.
6. Build an open environment within the team.
7. Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
8. Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
9. Support the Product Owner
Requirements:
1. Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM)
2. Experience in acting as a Scrum Master for previous development teams.
3. Excellent communication and mentoring skills
4. Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Would be considered an advantage:
Knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS), TDD, Continuous Integration, Automated Testing
