IT Project Manager, German-speaking & with strong experience in networks, currently needed by one of our clients based in Germany. Tasks and Activities: Participation in and planning of IT projects, Requirement gathering, preparation of documents and reports, coordination of network departments for IT projects, Coordination of workshops, creating and keeping track of to-do lists, creation of technical concepts with the departments, resource planning and project reporting are core tasks, Support in operational network projects and IT service tenders in the German market, to implement the activities described standard tools are used (MS Office, MS Project, Lotus Notes, Visio). Consulting skills in network components, eg Switches/Routers/Firewalls, as well as knowledge of telephone systems is required. The task includes travel activities to Luxembourg (travel will be covered by the client).
Qualifications and skills:
Strong analytical skills, Excellent organizational skills, ideally experience in cross-team project environment, overview and understanding of network technology, in particular switch/Router/Firewalls, phone systems and telecommunications providers, Experience in IT project management, specializing in network and telephone switchboards. Very good German and English, spoken and written English skills are an advantage, Excellent team and communication skills, good social skills, Strong coordination skills, Accurate, caring, structured and sustainable activities. This is a long-term project opportunity, starting on a 3 month (EXTENDABLE) contract. Excellent rates paid
