For our client in the Area of Mannheim we are looking for an experiencend Storage Service CoordinatorThe Global Storage Service Coordinator will work within SAP 19s Infrastructure Management Storage team. The Service Coordinator is instrumental in assisting the Global Storage teams 19 operational efforts.
As service coordinator for storage you are responsible for: Coordinating a service provider for Managed Operations globally in an international team; Defining SAP´s global storage architecture, standards and processes for operations; Strong alignment and close cooperation with the technical design authority and HW vendors; Drive innovation to optimize, automate and standardize the storage delivery processes; Managing projects to implement new architecture, technology and processes.
• Project Management of the globalization of storage operations
• Financial management/forecasting of global storage infrastructure
• Management of global storage costs and internal allocations
• Ability to gather and analyze facts, define problems, and devise solutions
• Analysis of trending utilization for capacity and forecasting purposes
• Maintain and support vendor relations
• Keep abreast of the latest storage technologies
• Develop global policies, processes and procedures for storage operations
• Responsible for procurement of storage systems from multiple vendor offerings, technologies and platforms.
• Administration of contractual obligations including associated fees, analysis and compliance of KPIs, SLAs
• Management of all storage assets worldwide
• Life cycle management of deployed assets
• Participate in integration projects associated with acquisition activity
• Coordination/Escalation management
• Creation and deployment of processes automation to ensure efficiency
• Management and understanding of outsourcing model
• Develop required management reports including status reports and incident and problem management reports
• Develop a Portfolio Management strategy and deliver a Storage Team Portfolio to measure the value of key services, initiatives, support model, etc.
• Develop storage allocation procedures
• Capable of managing and leading a team
• Knowledge of EMC and NetApp Storage Systems
• Knowledge of Brocade SAN Director Switches
• Knowledge of VMware technology
• Experience with managing external service providers
• BA/BS degree or the equivalent in work experience
• Minimum of 10+ years experience in IT/customer facing experience
• Knowledge of storage technologies
• Build solid relationships with customers, line of business and service provider
