My client is a global SI. They require an experienced Desktop & Server Support Consultant
GERMAN & ENGLISH SPEAKING
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH HP KIT/HARDWARE
- Installation, configuration of Windows client operating systems ( XP, Vista & 7) and Linux (RHEL 3-6).
- Excellent Troubleshooting Skills in Hardware and operating systems ( XP,Vista,7 and RHEL)
- Experience in VMWare environments
- Application/package management in Windows and Linux.
- Patch management in Windows & Linux (RHEL)
- Specific infrastructure support functions (ex. Backups, hardware repair, terminal server, SAMBA administration, remote console)
- Installation and administration of HPUX, Solaris workstations
- Application software installation, troubleshooting of software installations
- Breakfix support for HPUX/Solaris/Linux workstations
- Knowledge in Network and Storage connectivity
