Job Title: SAP HANA Architect
Location: Herzo, (Nuremburg) Germany
Mandatory
- 5 to 8years experience in SAP BW with minimum 1 year experience in SAP HANA
- Excellent experience in client interactions to understand their requirement and to architect/propose a HANA solution & roadmap to yield maximum ROI for the client
- Understanding of core Datawarehouse concepts and in-depth experience in data modelling.
- Experience in architecting Global SAP BW reporting solutions in an environment with multiple SAP and non-SAP source systems.
- In-depth technical BW knowledge coupled with solid all round hands-on experience including data extraction and report generation aspects of delivering business solutions in BW.
- SAP development experience utilizing ABAP and ABAP Objects.
- Strong Understanding of SAP BI 4.0 architecture and its integration with SAP HANA
- A broad understanding of at least SAP SCM and SAP ECC Logistics modules
- Knowledge and experience in Performance Optimization related to data modelling, extraction, reporting in BW landscape
- Should be well versed in sizing methodology for a SAP BW landscape
- In-depth understanding of In-Memory computing technology used in SAP BWA.
- Should have experience of at least one implementation project in SAP HANA and should be able work independently on the Design, Build, and Test activity.
- Should be proficient in creating schemas in HANA to load data from various source systems.
- In-depth understanding of HANA Architecture, various editions of SAP HANA, data replication tools like Sybase and SLT and use cases of HANA
- Should have hands-on development experience on the below:
- Experience in HANA data modelling with different views like calculation view, analytical view, attribute view etc.
- Thorough understanding of choosing views for the information model, using decision tree.
- Thorough hands-on experience with HANA ETL procedure using SAP Landscape transformation and BOBJ data services
- Should have worked on join of the tables and have extensive understanding of differences between Inner Join, Left Outer Join, Right Outer Join, Full Outer Join, Text Join and referential Join when connecting tables
- Understanding of Standard Union and Union with constant values
- Proficiency in creating Restricted and calculated measures
- Should have created measure using various aggregation types available like Min, Max, and Sum.
- Should have worked to Reduce the data transfer between the Engines by using Filter Operations like: Using a Constraint or WHERE clause using SQL, Creating Client Dependant Views, Using Model Domain Fix Values
- Created Variables and applied them as filters and also worked on various input parameters
- Should have used SQL statement for data manipulation, Schema definition, session management etc.
- Should have used SQL elements like identifiers, expressions, operators, predicates etc.
- Ability to work on currency conversion in analytical views.
- Understanding and hands on experience in creating users, roles and granting privileges
Preferred
- Certification in SAP HANA
- Certification in SAP BW
