Windows Administrator OS Support EUC Active Directory Virtualization Hamburg. A Global IT Services company requires a Windows Administrator with experience in EUC Admin, Desktop deployment Virtualisation, VDI, Citrix, VMware, HyperV, ESX server and Active Directory.
The role will include the following tasks:
System configuration for the desktop, recommend Hardware upgrades for the Desktop, Specifying the OS to be used, provide upgrade options for OS, check patches for need and reliability, recommend software based on needs, taking ownership and resolving the escalated issues, installation and configuration of deployment tools, troubleshoot deployment related issues administration maintenance of deployment tools, knowledge in troubleshooting hardware and windows operating system and Embedded OS related issues, desktop applications and LAN for Desktops and Knowledge in installing, configuring and troubleshooting printers, plug and play POS, PDA's, Kiosk, MFD, IPhone, I pad etc. and related issues,. you must have knowledge in Shrink wrapped products like Microsoft Office, MS Project, Visio, Adobe suite, Dreamweaver, Outlook, Lotus Notes. Knowledge on antivirus client software installations, patch and hotfix installations and troubleshooting. Knowledge on virtual concepts and different technologies used in virtualization (Citrix, VMware, HyperV)? Knowledge on Virtual desktop implementation (VDI), building VM's with standardized OS images and different virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix, HyperV), Knowledge on performance monitoring of Virtual machines via Vsphere Vcenter. Knowledge on virtual infrastructure, virtual centre, VM access control, resource management, backup and restore of, Knowledge on ESX server, VDI (virtual desktop implementation), Vsphere DRS (distributed resource scheduler) and application virtualization concepts.
