Currently we are searching for eight candidate who is able to cover the following position:Basic Parameters:
36 project days during the period
Tasks:
receive and update incidents and requests through a call tracking tool
basic installs, moves and changes for desktop and laptops
install operating systems for PC's, onto a desktop and laptop
load an image onto a desktop and laptop
backup and restore data on client workplaces
load standard software applications such as MS Office or other scripted installs
install (unpack, connect to the NW & test) standard desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals
physically move client equipment
set up security, file access, and other administrative procedures associated with requests & incidents
connect client equipment to network facilities
provide desk-side guidance as appropriate to the end users
affix an asset identifier tag to the Asset where required by the Customer and update the CMDB
monitor SLA of assigned activities
find faults with basic office environment IT related problems
identify the scope of incident or problem & provide operational & technical assistance to remedy
replace components in both desktops and laptops (e.g. hard drives, processors, fans etc.)
understand desktop and laptop installations and configuration
coordinate activities with service desk & provide Level 2/3 support to service desk &/or end users
coordinate with third party (e.g. manufacturer warranties, RR managed print partner)
Perform remote control resolution using appropriate tools like SMS or SCCM
Must-Have Skills:
English language skill
knowledge in MS Office
Nice-to-Have Skills:
knowledge in 2st & 3nd level support
