Our client has an open position based in Berlin as Commodity Buyer IS (f/m).
Tasks:
Prepare and run negotiation dossiers as a project
Develop sourcing approach and negotiation strategy, contract models & risk mitigations
Conduct RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and ensure Procurement process compliance
Assess and contract suppliers
Lead negotiation and contracting process
Organize a proper contract management and hand-over contracts to teams
Skills:
5 - 10 years IT Procurement experience in a multi-sourcing environment
Strong negotiation skills, solid understanding of contractual wording
Strong SAP R/3 and MS office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) required. Experience with electronic RFx and online negotiation tools preferred (ideally newtron)
English mandatory (negotiation level)

Leadership skills
Ability to explore new and existing markets in great depth and propose and support the implementation of optimum solutions for the client on a global basis
