Our renowned Customer develops an innovative Linux Distribution which enables thin clients to use cloud based services. The focus of our product is to give a state-of-the art user experience, full range of office services, mobility and zero administration. The product is completely based on open source technology stack: Ubuntu, Python / Django, JQuery & HTML5. The Customer follows the agile methodologies including scrum, continuous integration and automatic black & white box testing in order to accomplish fast deliverables along side with an unmatched quality.Tasks
- Development and maintenance of our automatic software update mechanism
- Research & develop various network related issues such as VPN, Wi-Fi devices etc
- Design and develop various backend services which are consumed by our Django framework
- Misc Linux related troubleshooting and advisory
Skills
- Minimum 3 years experience with Linux Programming using Bash, C / C++, Python etc
- Minimum 2 years exp. with Python
- Minimum 5 years exp with team based software development projects with the related tools: git, wiki, bug tracking system etc
- Developing web applications using Django framework
- Automated testing tools for x-windows system such as xdotool
- Proficient with Linux security model
