Software Quality Engineer - Germany

Software Quality Engineer with automated, manual, unit and integration testing, ideally programming (C#, C++, Matlab), rational clearcase, rational robot is required to join a leading medical manufacturing organisation based in Germany.

Background

The Software Quality Engineer ideally will have a background in programming:

C#, C++ or Matlab

They will have a proven track record of automated and manual testing

They will have a proven track record of unit and integration testing

They will have experience with clearcase and robot (or equlivalent)

Ideally this person will have a manufacturing background although any large FMCG or Blue-chip firm will be perfectly fine.

This individual should have language skills in English and German (although not mandatory)

Responsibilities

Develops, modifies and executes software test tools and test environments

Develops, modifies and executes test plans.

Debugs software products through the use of systematic test to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products.

Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.

Analyses test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.

Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.

Analyses and writes test standards and procedures.

Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems and software
