Our Mobile Communications client is seeking a Project Manager with a background in Hardware to join a long term and high profile project in Germany. If you possess the majority of the skills listed below please contact me ASAP and send CV for immediate telephone interviews.o Overall technical responsibility and coordination of entire hardware development project
o Planning, managing and controlling of hardware project , i.e. work packages, resource requirements and schedule
o Responsible for the successful execution of all tasks of product/platform development, design and verification, which have been agreed with internal and external customer(s)
o Interfacing with peer project managers as well as interaction with developers on technical solution and progress
o Customer and supplier interface and management
o Assesses and manages project risks until closure
o Reporting of project status
Skills
o Hardware projects management experience at least 3 years
o Candidate must have good knowledge of the hardware development life cycle including requirements gathering and analysis, detailed design and system setup/configuration, testing, implementation management and support
o Experience in the development of mobile communication products (terminals)
o Familiarity with relevant 3GPP specifications for mobile phones required
o Strong interpersonal and project management skills, problem solving skills, analysis of situations or data
o Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, independent and proactive way of working
o Skills in MS Office and MS Project required
o Experiences with tracking tools (e.g. IBM Clearquest) required
o PM certification desired
