Operational Acceptance Test: Test case description, test case results, OAT Report
List of Known Defects identified in OAT
TASKS:
- Define and execute Non Functional Requirement Test cases on the Central Test Environment Define and execute Operational Acceptance Test cases on the OpCo production environment Plan and align Operational Acceptance Test (OAT) execution
- Ownership of OAT environments and ensure that OAT environments are fit for purpose
- Liaise with vendor to troubleshoot issues identified during testing & provide input for operational improvements
- Troubleshooting of complex issues in a distributed production environment (root cause analysis)
- Liaise with technical teams within the Global Hosting Centre regarding production issues/architecture review
- Deployment and Maintenance of operational monitoring solution
- Support environment design (prod, near-live, pre-prod, test)
- Environment incident and problem management
SKILLS:
- Able to quickly acquire broad operational knowledge and understanding of the service and functionality
- Must have excellent knowledge of the following - Expert Linux admin, Java Enterprise Edition, Oracle database, TCP/IP network protocols, security management (certificates, Firewalls, load balancers, etc), storage networks - SAN.
- Experience in operational acceptance
- Test definition and test management
- Project management experience
- Familiar with ITIL best practice
- A grounding in development in earlier career.
- Will have worked in a financial, telecoms and high performance 24/7 platform.
- Exposure and understanding of Windows platforms and application architecture would also be beneficial
