- The candidate is applying for a role in Application Lifecycle Management supporting a complex application landscape.
- In general services to be performed cover the activities of the entire Application Lifecycle (Design, Build, Run) for the BO/XI applications and environment. It therefore includes conceptual architecture works and development activities as well as monitoring and issue resolution tasks.
- Based on his/her experience, the candidate supports the delivery team on certain pre/post-signature security questions.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level Application Support including all resolution activities
- Overall SAP BO XI Administration and monitoring
- Active monitoring of interfaces, data loads and jobs
- Proactive Maintenance and continuous improvement
- Identify risks and issues in the application landscape and manages those appropriately
- Support the Offer-Order Process (sales process for enthancements) by requirements analysis, estimations and description of necessary prerequisites
- Creation of technical concepts
- Realization and implementation of new enhancements
- Frequent internal and customer communication to IT and business contacts
- Minimum of three years professional experience in the area of BO XI
Sound knowledge of BO XI standard tools and environment - Experienced in targeting different relational databases as sources for XI reporting purposes
- Able to develop and review reports in means of error analysis and bug fixing (webi, deski, report)
- Sound experience in universe design, implementation and management
- Review and monitoring of BO Logs (BO, frs, was)
- Ideally knowledgeable in tool-usage of Compuware’s VantageView (BO Robot)
- Ideally knowledgeable concerning the Tivoli Integrated Portal
- Detection and resolution of performance bottlenecks
- Experienced in BO XI R3 CMC Administration
- Sound knowledge of the SAP-transportation procedures and solutions regarding SAP BO XI
- Preparation and conduction of massive test data loads in the respective test systems
- Ideally knowledgeable about BO XI architectural concepts
