This position, based near Frankfurt in Germany, calls for experience in the use, administration and support of DOORS.
Our client is responsible for establishing and operating weather forecasting and Earth observation satellite programmes with associated data telemetry and dissemination operations. Vast quantities of data are produced and user communities throughout the world are able to access both current and historical data sets. The demanding Real Time environment places much emphasis on adherence to quality and configuration management standards and procedures.
The role will embrace:-
- Installation, maintenance and upgrades of the DOORS client and server software,
- Tailoring and Customisation
- Integration between DOORS and other information systems
- DOORS Administration
- User support
The key experience and attributes sought are:-
- At least 5 years experience in using DOORS for requirements management
- At least 3 years experience in administering DOORS
- At least 3 years experience of DXL
- Experience in providing DOORS user support
- Knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2
- Proven experience in formal documentation, preferably in an ISO 9001 certified project and service environment
Knowledge of some of the following would be advantageous:-
- Experience of using DOORS for verification management
- Tomcat, Apache
- LDAP/AD
- HTML/JavaScript
- Java
- Knowledge of ITIL, in particular with respect to change and configuration management fundamentals and principles
Candidates should possess a University degree or equivalent. Fluency in English is essential. This is a freelance contract assignment with an initial period of one year starting in January 2013 with three options to extend for further periods of one year each.
