Infrastructure Project Manager, Data Centre Core Infrastructure Project Manager
I am searching for an infrastructure project manager to work for one of Germany's largest transportation and logistics companies on a contract basis,
You will be responsible for the infrastructure set-up in two new collocation data centre spaces being established for my client,
- Manage architecture team to deliver designs at required levels
- Manage procurement team to establish vendor relationships and enable purchasing
- Manage build team(s) to ensure delivery of infrastructure on time
- Strong track record of delivering infrastructure into data centres (min 5 years in management role)
- Solid understanding of server, storage and networking technologies currently available.
- experience of build out of data centre environments from scratch
- experience of working with collocation data centre providers
- Experience in outsourcing and dealing with external suppliers
- Experience with ITIL process model
ITIL knowledge is a bonus
