For our customer in the south of Germany we are looking as soon as possible for an Information System (IS) Field Service Technician (m/f).
Aufgaben:
- handling physical incidents and Request (2nd level on site intervention)
o End-to-end handling of IMAC (Install, Move Add, Change) requests for Desktop/printers/software (incl. ordering process, …)
o Repair interventions (hardware & Windows environment)
o Various Software installations
- Advicer & Consulting for users on the best use of the IS (new and existing) tools and services
o Listen to user requirements
o Translate to IT needs
o Assist & support during and after implementation
- Using of LAN/WAN infrastructure to be able to advice or use in troubleshooting situations
- Support of Migration projects for example(e.g. IP Phone deployment, Win7 migration, ..)
- Work with ITIL method of operating
Skills:
- 5 years experience in handling physical incidents and Request (2nd level on site intervention)
o End-to-end handling of IMAC (Install, Move Add, Change) requests for Desktop/printers/software (incl. ordering process, …)
o Repair interventions (hardware & Windows environment)
o Various Software installations
- Must be able to give advice & consult the user on the best use of the IS (new and existing) tools and services
o Listen to user requirements
o Translate to IT needs
o Assist & support during and after implementation
- Basic understanding of LAN/WAN infrastructure to be able to advice or use in troubleshooting situations
- Experience with migration projects is a strong plus (e.g. IP Phone deployment, Win7 migration, ..)
- Good written/oral knowledge of English is a plus
- Is familiar with ITIL
