Transmission Program Manager – Switzerland

On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a Transmission Program Manager to work on a contract basis in Zurich, Switzerland. Fluent German and work eligibility in EU is required for application.

Main Responsibilities:

You will manage a portfolio of projects in Transmission department, executing to time, costs and quality targets, working with engineering teams to define and agree Transmission Strategy internally and with Customer.

The main tasks and responsibilities are:
• Defining setting up and scoping new projects to meet strategy and requirements.
• Manage a matrix organization providing end to end delivery assurance of project lifecycle delivered to customer both internal and external requirements.
• Partner management to ensure timely delivery and excellent execution.
• Manage a team of Project Coordinators for swap/rollout of different TRS medias (MW, MRA, Fiber, …)
• Manage a portfolio of projects in Transmission department. Executing to time, costs and quality targets.

Qualifications:
• At least 10 years working experience in Project Management of Wireless Access Network Rollout or Swap projects
• Sound experience of Transport and Transmission Planning and TRS Rollout
• Very good communication skills internal and in Customer interface
• Good technical background and state of the art knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE systems and Transport/Transmission systems
• Fluent oral and written German and English skills, French is an asset
• Based Zurich, Willingness to travel
