On behalf of our high profile telecoms client, I am looking for a Software Design Engineer for data protocols. Software Design for Data Protocols
Job description:
Design and implementation of data protocol SW modules
Module testing and pre-integration tests
Analysis of customer requirements and change requests
Required competence:
Minimum Bachelor of Science or similar degree in a relevant SW engineering field
Embedded systems know how eg on ARM controllers
Data protocols knowledge eg IP, TCP, Sockets
Interface SW knowledge eg USB, SPI, I2C, HSI
Real Time operating systems knowledge (basic)
Understanding of the software development life cycle
Experience in debugging tools (eg Lauterbach Emulator)
Programming languages C/C++ and knowledge of CM Tools (ClearCase)
Open minded and self-driven personality, good interpersonal communication skills
