We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Project Manager with strong focus on Infrastructure Technologies and Desktop Hardware/Software to join one of the world's largest and best renowned IT & Management Consultancies to work onsite at a very prestigious global Insurance Organisation managing a large infrastructure project focusing on desktop technologies.

Our client is one of the world's foremost IT & Management Consultancies, a company with over 120,000 people in more than 100 offices spread over 65 countries. Technology Infrastructure Services is one of their biggest divisions, counting amongst its clients well over 50% of the World's blue chip companies. The role at hand is to work with one of their most prominent clients, a leading global Insurance Group where they are working on a number of projects across technologies and locations; the role at hand will be the project manager for a large, infrastructure project, revising and implementing a whole new set-up of Virtual Desktops and Desktop Software & Operating Systems.
The role will suit a skilled and experience Project Manager with a wealth of knowledge in the infrastructure space who will be charged with the following:
- Managing and Mentoring Engineers and Architects;
- Coordination with Offshore Team;
- Milestone Tracking;
- Workplace processes;
- Project Delivery and Maintenance
- Team Leading and Interfacing
- Stakeholder Management and Client Liaison
In order to succeed in this role the right candidate must have the following experience and skill set:
- Excellent Knowledge and Experience of: Project Management
- Excellent Knowledge and Experience of: Infrastructure Technologies
- Excellent Knowledge and Experience of: Desktop Technologies (Hard/Software)
- Excellent Knowledge and Experience of: Windows Servers and Operating Systems
- Excellent Knowledge and Experience of: Microsoft Project
- Excellent Knowledge and Experience of: Onshore/Offshore Model
As well as the above, we require someone with exceptional: Communication Skills who will be able to liaise and manage the clients expectations as well as be the key onsite interface between the consultancy and the client.
