WHAT will be your responsibilities for this Software Development Engineer - LTE Protocol Stack (MAC LAYER) - C++?
In this position, you will specify, design and implement protocol software of the fourth mobile-radio generation for a mobile radio tester. The focus will be on the MAC layer for LTE and LTE-Advanced. You will verify your results in simulation environments and perform internal quality assurance measures. You will also be responsible for the integration with layer 1 and on the target system. Your wide range of duties will include finding solutions for special customer requirements. Specially qualified university graduates will be offered intensive training in a highly interesting field.
WHAT are the essential requirements for this Software Development Engineer - LTE Protocol Stack (MAC LAYER)- C++?
*University degree in electrical engineering with emphasis on communications engineering or (technical) computer science or degree in computer science with emphasis on electrical engineering
*Outstanding skills in C++
*Excellent knowledge of mobile radio communications protocols, especially LTE MAC
*Ideally, skills in Embedded systems and performance optimization
*Know-how in object-oriented software design would be ideal
*Experience in software development processes, quality assurance and version management
*Self-directed and goal-oriented approach to work
*Active team player with strong job commitment
*Excellent command of written and spoken English
