Senior test Engineer for Electron Microscopy Software
Out client is building up a SW test facility and in the need of a senior test engineer who is able and willing to drive this initial phase based on his expertise.
This means in particular testing and validation of operation and application software for scanning electron and ion microscopes and includes following tasks:
- Designing and implementing test cases to verify product functionalities, performance, and other requirements
- Perform functional and regression testing of software running on electron microscopes
- Documentation of test result and reporting of defects to the development team
- Development of test strategies and test plans
- Introduce and drive unit test initiatives
- Setup and maintain test suites for VisualStudio/TFS based development environment
- Design and development of test tools
Skill set:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Hands on experience on at least one high level programming language (preferred: C#, C++)
- Advanced Certified Tester Foundation Level of ISTQB
- Experiences in operation of scanning electron microscopes, or instruments similar in complexity
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and test processes
- Good communication skills with development teams, product and project managers
- Very good English language skills
- Knowledge of the German language is helpful
